Elon Musk, chief executive of SpaceX and Tesla, unveiled his fear about Artificial intelligence at a program of National Governor’s Association in the United States. He cleared that he sees Artificial intelligence as a threat to humankind.
He said, “I think people should be really concerned about it.” He also stated that artificial intelligence is the greatest risk we face as a civilization. He suggested that the government should intervene and regulate the technology before it’s too late.
Ha again said, “This technology is being used in the industries without considering the regulations and risks associated with it. For this reason, people are losing their jobs. Artificial intelligence is enough to wipe out mankind.”
He informed that he is working closely with the latest edition of AI. And that’s why he is more concerned about how cautious we should all be regarding this.
Before this, he tweeted in 2014, “We need to be super careful with AI. Potentially more dangerous than nukes.”
Even though not everyone is concerned with this threat, they are proposing that a govt. intervention is necessary.
